Don’t be too quick to believe the FBI’s smear attacks on Martin Luther King… haven’t we already learned the FBI fabricates everything?

Over the last several days, conservative media outlets have been leaping on a report that claims FBI agents told each other that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had 40 extra-marital affairs and even stood by and laughed while his friend raped a woman. In hearing these allegations, we must all remember that the FBI has zero credibility and took part in the attempted treason against President Trump via the Russia collusion hoax.

Furthermore, the FBI’s war against the civil rights movement, black Americans and Dr. King in particular has been going on for decades. The FBI has been corrupt to the core long before James Comey came along and underscored the depths of treason and criminality that have long festered inside a once-trusted institution.

These allegations against Martin Luther King sound a lot like the “Trump dossier” allegations against Donald J. Trump. And the FBI is already known to have penned a letter to Dr. King that attempted to motivate the man to commit suicide.

Why is conservative media suddenly so trusting of the FBI and willing to repeat smears that might be completely fabricated?

If Regulators Won’t Stop The Sale of Cell Phone Users’ Location Data, Consumers Must

A Motherboard investigation revealed in January how any cellphone users’ real-time location could be obtained for $300. The pervasiveness of the practice, coupled with the extreme invasion of people’s privacy, is alarming.

The reporting showed there is a vibrant market for location data generated by everyone’s cell phones—information that can be incredibly detailed and provide a window into people’s most sensitive and private activities. The investigation also laid bare that cell phone carriers AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, and the many third parties with access to the companies’ location data, have little interest or incentive to stop.

This market of your personal information violates federal law and Federal Communication Commission (FCC) rules that protect people’s location privacy. The market also violates FCC rules prohibiting disclosure of extremely sensitive location information derived in part from GPS data that is only to be disclosed when emergency responders need to find people during an emergency.

We expected the FCC to take immediate action to shut down the unlawful location data market and to punish the bad actors.
