Not an add… it's from the local CBS..wusa9, That said, I am still on the side of the whole of this story not making sense. It would seem to me that this would have attracted much more in depth coverage. I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of this. Baltimore has some not all of their computers unlocked. Clowns are hard at work in that state.

From my understanding they said there isn't away to unhack this particular variant of ransomware. I also do recall a few years back this, there was discussion of making cybersecurity programs available through the government, at a premium, which supposedly would protect all of us from this type of thing. I remember thinking at the time, another scam to steal right out of our wallets. If I remember correctly they were talking about Crowdstrike being the company that would provide the service.

Are we even really sure this is the guy..looks like a pic of him getting on either a subway or a bus. Wouldn't family provide a different picture than that. In other words, something that is more frontal and encompasses his whole body?

That's true, should have been more clear to say..the keys belong to the hackers..one of the things that drives me nuts about this hack is what it is called..Robbinhood hack, there is a foundation in each city called Robinhood which is run by city leaders..so I wonder if there is a connection here.
