>Only the Midwest saw an increase in April, with a 1.3% uptick. Pending sales were down 1.8% in the Northeast, 2.5% in the South, and 1.8% in the West.

Pay close attention, and you'll see what white flight looks like.

I'll put it to you another way. People are leaving shitsville in droves. We just had a family visiting us on their way to Knoxville to escape Seattle. Another anon pointed out Real Estate sales. It's always "doom and gloom" in that regard, but what people don't realize, is, those areas are transforming into actual utter shit holes. Dirty needles everywhere. Homelessness. Illegals. Income to property rent disparity. Taxes. On the eastern side, you have beautiful utopias like Atlanta, Columbia, Raleigh, DC areas, and Cuba (Florida). Nobody wants to be anywhere near all that shit. People with whatever money they have left are taking their belongings, and losses on house sales, and getting the fuck out. Where are they moving?

They are moving where everything isn't overrun yet, where there are jobs and growth, better schools, better climate, friendlier people, and less people wearing badges telling you what you can and cannot do to your own body. Housing sales skyrocketed in places like Colorado where weed was legalized, but they managed to deter portions of the house-less population. The real dregs stopped by CO, and eventually ended up in Seattle/San Fran because CO refused to placate worthlessness.

It's a unique climate, but you aren't going to fix place that for another 20 years. Just pack up and move, anon. I'm not even fucking kidding. I, unfortunately, am going to have to relocate from paradise myself for other reasons, but that's going to be as temporary as possible until I can return.

Not sure if you didn't get the sarcasm, but I can assure you I meant to pay no compliments to anything below the Mason Dixon, or west of the Idaho, for that matter. Hence the "nobody wants to be anywhere near all that shit". Lots of folks are moving to the front range.
