I think allowing the patent(s) to be filed and published (instead of declaring them national security and withholding patent issuance or putting a gag order on them) indicates this is probably a mature technology, or even previous-generation technology, that is going to be made public.
My almonds say this is a game changer and very important, which is why I posted about it a lot circa Apr 28th.
