Listened to Rush today for a bit. One exchange with a caller (Eric) caught my attention. In it, caller references an earlier observation by Rush about the incredible resources stacked against Trump (fake news, H-wood, Dems, deep state, etc.). Rush then states that he's not worried and explains why.
"RUSH: Well, you know, I am optimistic as you are when it comes to things like this. I can’t tell people why. “Rush, why aren’t you all worried?” Because I think it’s gonna work out. “How?” I don’t know. Who can explain attitudinal optimism. “Well, what strategy is gonna make it –“ “I don’t know. I don’t have the strategy. I just think it’s gonna work out.”
And I think largely, as you say, it is a reliance on truth."
Substitute Rush's word strategy for plan (they are synonyms after all), and what he's saying is"
-
There is a plan.
-
I don't fully understand that plan, but I know it's there.
-
I trust the plan.
Anons, make of this what you will.
