Fight for D.C. statehood gets new push from Democrats

—The latest version of the D.C. statehood bill already has 205 sponsors in the House and 33 in the Senate.

 

—Support for D.C. statehood was also contained in Democrats’ flagship election reform package, which passed the House in March [HR 1]

 

Another state provides 2 more Senate Seats tipping the balance of power. Don't let them fool you. The goal is to make sure the D's remain in power forever. This is just another part of their multi step plan.

1) import D voters

2) remove the electoral college

3) allow for popular vote

4) increase D leaning 'states' with Seats in Senate
