As Trump said … we'll give 'em a month at 5% … then review (and jack as indicated). The point being that if the tariff gets too high, Mexico doesn't just give up the tariff … it loses the entire sale. Do you really think Ford (etc, etc) is going to hold still for a 35% tariff? No … and neither do the Mexicans. They will fix the problem. This change is designed to find the level of pain at which they WILL comply.
