Not a lawfag but I think it's real simple, anon.

There are pending criminal cases.

Some are before grand juries.

Some may actually be in trial.

Others are sealed and the indictments have not yet been revealed to the defendants.

It is very important that these cases be allowed to proceed without anything that could be used as a defense by the defendants, such as premature public exposure of the details.

Barr is in the best position to ensure a proper interlock with the pending cases so that some material can be declassed right away and some might have to wait until those prosecutions are further along.

I've said this many times.

Anybody agree/disagree?

It just seems to logical to me.

"I can't get a fair trial because there are no jury members that haven't heard my case on the news" is a common defense that gets some criminals off the hook. We can't let this happen. These may be some of the most important cases in American history.

Ever heard of the fair use doctrine?

So long as we are discussing, not publishing, the articles, or posting only in part or summary, should be OK I believe.
