My research on Crowdstrike leads to X-agent malware. It began as an android malware, then apple malware. I am not finding it was a windows malware at the time of the 'hacking' of DNC. Can we confirm that the DNC server and network were windows based?

X-agent has been known since 2012 - so why wouldn't DNC servers/network be protected from it as it would be a common scan item?
