EXCLUSIVE: U.S. Marine Attacked on Border Surveillance Mission

A U.S. Marine was attacked while working on the California-Mexico border by three unknown persons. The Breitbart Border Team spoke with multiple sources operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Department of Defense (DOD), and reviewed an official document detailing the matter. Authorities are expected to publicly confirm the incident now that it has been made known to the public. Trusted sources working under the umbrella of CBP and the DOD told Breitbart News that a group of three unknown individuals approached a Mobile Surveillance Camera (MSC) vehicle, opened the door, and attempted to pull the Marine from the vehicle. The Marine pulled his firearm and fired one shot during a struggle with an attacker, according to a source and an official document obtained by Breitbart News.

The Marine was patrolling the border in the El Centro Sector, Station Zone 2, on May 29 when the vehicle developed a problem with the surveillance display. The scene was roughly 7.5 miles from the U.S.-Mexico Border. A Border Patrol agent working with the two Marines directed one of the Marines to go with him for assistance. The second Marine waited with the vehicle. While he waited, the Marine was approached by a group of three unknown individuals. One of the three reportedly opened the door to the vehicle and attempted to take control of the Marine’s sidearm. During the struggle, the Marine fired his pistol one time, striking the forward-looking infrared display unit mounted on the dash. The attackers fled at that point. Border Patrol officials currently believe no one was injured by the gunfire.

During border surveillance operations, the MSC vehicle operated in a blacked-out condition. This restricts situational awareness from inside the vehicle, according to the official document. Protocol calls for one of the pair of Marines to be on roving patrol outside the vehicle to provide security while the second operates the surveillance equipment. The official document states that Border Patrol agents arrived on the scene within a few minutes and began a search for the three suspects. Another source told Breitbart News that one or more of the individuals were captured about two miles away from the vehicle. Breitbart News reached out to CBP and DOD for more information. A source at the Pentagon confirmed they are aware of the incident and are preparing a public statement. The CBP is leading the investigation.

Mexico’s President to Donald Trump: America Is for Migrants

Poor people have a right to migrate to the United States, and migrants should not be stopped by force, according to a letter from Mexico’s president to U.S. President Donald Trump. President López Obrador’s May 30 letter, provided by the Wall Street Journal, claimed a migrant’s “right for justice,” saying: President Trump. Social problems are not resolved by taxes or coercive measures. How do you transform the country of fraternity for the world’s migrants into a ghetto, a closed space, where migrants are stigmatized, mistreated, persecuted, expelled and the right for justice is canceled to those who tirelessly seek to live free of misery?

The letter also suggested that poor Mexicans have a right to migrate into the United States: “It is worth remembering that, within a short period of time, Mexicans will not need to migrate into the United States and that migration will become optional, not compulsory.” Obrador’s letter did not formally reject or accept Trump’s demand that Mexico block the huge Central American migration into the United States, nor did it directly denounce Trump’s threat to impose rising tariffs on Mexico. Instead, it repeatedly claimed poor people have a right to move into the United States. In one section, the letter appropriates the Statue of Liberty as a supposed symbol of legal migration, saying “The Statue of Liberty is not an empty symbol.” In reality, the statue was built to show other nations how America’s Constitution and culture help create a thriving democracy. Since then, many progressives have tried to argue the status is a symbolic invitation to migrants.

Since 1965, when the nation’s immigration laws were loosened, the U.S. population of Mexican-ancestry citizens and illegal immigrants has exploded to 30 million. That huge population delivers about $30 billion in remittances to Mexico each year.

Obrador also suggested that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt endorsed easy migration: President Roosevelt was a titan of liberties. He proclaimed the four fundamental rights of humankind before anyone else: the right to freedom of speech, the right to freedom of religion, the right to live free from fear, and the right to live free from misery. Additionally, Obrador argued that “universal justice” will triumph over national borders, saying: With all due respect, even though you have the right to express it, the slogan “America First” is a fallacy because until the end of time, even over national borders, universal justice and fraternity will prevail. Nothing by force, everything by reason and Law!

In the United States, many establishment figures also assert that Americans’ homeland is a nation of and for immigrants, not a homeland for 280 million America-born citizens and their children. It’s the fabric of America to have multiple cultures.

White House Trade Adviser Defends Trump’s Tariffs, Says Mexico Is Exporting Illegal Aliens

President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on Mexico are based on national security and economy threats and are a response to Mexico’s “export” of illegal aliens, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said. Navarro, speaking to CNBC on May 31, legally justified the president’s decision to impose a 5 percent tariff on all goods entering the United States from Mexico by citing the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which requires a national emergency.

“Clearly we have that at the border,” Navarro told the network, referring to the massive influx of illegal immigrants. Trump declared a national emergency on Feb. 15 to address the humanitarian crisis on the southwest border and to secure funds for border-wall construction. Border Patrol officials had apprehended over 500,000 illegal aliens on the southern border as of May 10. Navarro also made reference to what he said was Mexico’s biggest export to the United States. “If you look at it from an investor’s point of view and a corporate point of view, what we have in Mexico is the export—one of their high exports—of illegal aliens. And it’s a criminal enterprise,” Navarro told CNBC.

The Mexican government needs to do three things, Navarro said: the first is to “interdict” the numerous choke points along Guatemala’s small 150-mile border, where he said most of the migrants were entering from. The second is for them to “break up these transnational criminal organizations and this supply chain,” and the third, he explained, was for Mexico to “keep their asylum seekers on their side of the border,” citing the fact that Mexico has promised to help the U.S. with asylum. “The numbers that we are facing here are staggering,” he added. “This is a crisis.” Navarro also described the presidents move as not a “tariff war” but simply a measure to get Mexico “to do what it should be doing.”

In response to the initial fluctuations in the stock market following Trump’s move, Navarro urged investors to really listen to the reasons why Trump had imposed the tariffs. “I would suggest to investors to look at this calmly. Look at what we’re trying to do. This is actually a brilliant move by the president to get Mexico’s attention to get them to help us,” he said “Because so far they’ve just been standing by, and they really have the power to help us.”

The collusion between the FBI and Mainstream Media that everyone stopped talking about

The Office of Inspector General’s report on the FBI and Justice Department’s handling and mishandling of the investigation of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized, non-secure email server to conduct secret government business as Secretary of State revealed real and damning information on the mainstream media and their tight relationship with the deepest members of the deep state. But for some reason this story has just disappeared into the ether. And with all this talk of collusion you’d think this would be a hot topic.

While the FBI was leaking classified information, reporters were funneling bribes back to the leakers in the form of tickets to sporting events, golf outings, dinners, drinks, invites to private exclusive parties and more. “We identified instances where FBI employees improperly received benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks, and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events,” reads Michael Horowitz’ report. Horowitz has a separate investigation on the culture of leaks at the FBI and “will separately report on those investigations as they are concluded” the report stated. “We have profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel that we have uncovered during our review,” the IG continued. “These leaks highlight the need to change what appears to be a cultural attitude among many in the organization.”

Along with the FBI’s cozy relationship with the media, Horowitz’s report says that officials in the bureau at “all levels of the organization” leaked information to reporters without authorization. Elsewhere, the IG report outlined numerous instances of bias by several FBI officials, including a text message in which an FBI agent working on the Clinton email probe called Trump supporters “retarded.”

The Daily Caller’s Kevin Daley points out the pay-offs from mainstream media reporters to leaking FBI agents may be a violation of federal law: '''The rules define a prohibited source as a person who: Is seeking official action by, is doing business or seeking to do business with, or is regulated by the employee’s agency; or

Has interests that may be substantially affected by performance or nonperformance of the employee’s official duties.'''

Those definitions derive from the U.S. Code that states violations will be sanctioned “in accordance with any applicable laws, executive orders, and rules or regulations.”

The stories about the mainstream media being biased and working with very biased and very powerful federal bureaucrats, meeting at private and elite cocktail parties to plot their own agenda and the downfall of their political enemies were not some conspiracy theory after all, it was very much true and, apparently, it was common business in Obama’s Washington. The bottom line is the mainstream media colluded with agents and executives at every level of the FBI to try to affect the results of the 2016 presidential election.

The media lied, President Trump did not admit Russia helped him get elected

The mainstream media, Dems and the left are celebrating what they are describing as President Trump admitting that Russia helped him win the 2016 presidential election.

That one part where he says “Russia helping me to get elected” is being reported as a confession, a slip up that apparently reveals Trump’s true state of mind — forgetting that he also called the idea “a crime that didn’t exist,” and a “false accusation” in the very same tweets. Clearly, the President was rejecting allegations about collusion.

The New York Times ran a story about President Trump’s comments with the headline, “Trump Admits to Russia ‘Helping Me to Get Elected’.” The story was shared all over social media as mainstream media news outlets and the anti-Trumpers helped circulate the fake news story. The New York Times also said that Trump “has avoided saying publicly that Russia helped him win the presidency in 2016 through its election interference.” The implication of that sentence is that Trump might have said so, or thought so, privately. It also presumes Russia actually helped him win.

Not true. On the White House lawn, Trump said: “No, Russia did not help me get elected. Do you know who got me elected? Do you know who got me elected? I got me elected. Russia didn’t help me at all. Russia, if anything, I think, helped the other side. What you ought to ask is this: do you think the media helped Hillary Clinton get elected?” Fake news is in full force this year.

De Blasio And Cuomo Skip Out On 9/11 Memorial Dedication

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo were nowhere to be seen at the Thursday morning dedication for the new 9/11 Memorial Glade, a monument dedicated to recovery workers affected by toxin exposure following the 2001 terror attacks.

De Blasio’s office said the event conflicted with the mayor’s schedule, but the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate was spotted at a nearby gym about 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, the New York Post reported. “The Mayor’s team determined they could not make the event work with his schedule,” de Blasio spokesman Freddi Goldstein told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “The event was not brought to his attention and if he had known about the invitation, he would have attended.”

More than 2,000 rescue and recovery workers have died from inhaling toxic fumes following the attacks, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s World Trade Center Health Program. Cuomo was also absent from the event, despite being listed as a guest speaker in a pre-event press release.

A Cuomo spokesman told TheDCNF the press release was issued in error, as the governor never confirmed his attendance for the event and was “always going to be in Albany dealing with issues relating to the end of the legislative session.” “Our administration was always participating in this event as the state, under the Governor’s direction, contributed $500,000 in support of the memorial,” Cuomo spokesman Rich Azzopardi said. “‎The Governor’s Counsel Alphonso David and Port Authority Executive Director Rick Cotton were there representing the administration at the ceremony.”

A fireman who aided in rescue and recovery efforts in the aftermath of 9/11 found it “appalling” that neither Cuomo or de Blasio showed up at the event. “De Blasio has had some major issues with the police and other emergency service unions in the city for his lack of support in the past,” the fireman, who wished to remain anonymous, told TheDCNF. “This is like another slap in the face to them.” Maureen Fritz, whose firefighter brother William Gormely died in 2016 due to illnesses related to 9/11, told the New York Post it was “unacceptable” that Cuomo and de Blasio skipped out on the memorial dedication. “They ought to be ashamed of themselves,” Fritz said. “They should not be reelected at all because that’s not how you treat your citizens, your first responders.” Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg and former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart attended the hour-long dedication ceremony, which was held on the 17th anniversary of the end of 9/11 rescue-and-recovery efforts.

“Today we are dedicating this memorial glade to all who became sick or died because of causes related to the attacks and to all the men and women who took part in the rescue and recovery effort that ended on this date 17 years ago,” Bloomberg said. “We have a duty to care for those who need it and to honor the memory of those who died. The memorial glade helps us to fulfill that duty.”
