Legally, treason requires we are at a declared war by Congress, and you have to give aid to the enemy. While he did not say it I would think the crime would be closer to sedition or another specific crime in the USC.
He would not be investigating the investigators if he did not think there might be a crime committed.
The point we need to drive home is that the criminals have to be prosecuted in order to re-instate Constitutional law, or we will lose the country as an example of how to deal with corruption.

And I realize the political class is thinking this is unfair, only because they have been ignoring the Constitution and breaking the law and selling out the country for $$ for so long, but, this is the price you pay for selling out a Constitutional Republic. If you want to play bananna republic corporate rule, you all need to go to another country.
Soldiers die every day in a voluntary sacrifice for freedom and survival of our Republic.
If these criminals have to die, as I said before, let them die for the sake of the Republic.
Let it be a warning to ANYONE who thinks it is ok to abuse their political power to make a grab against the will of the people.

If they let this go, with slap on the wrist, the nation that was angry before Trump was elected, and ready to attack Washington to restore the Constitution, will start thinking there is going to be no justice, unless the people forsake the ballot box, and pick up the guns.
BARR needs to understand this.
I hope he does, because it is a "cultural thing" to put up with criminal in Washington.
It is not going to be tolerated by the greater nation any more and this message should be delivered by those who know how close we were getting to internal war.
Better the criminals go to jail/die at the hands of the courts and legal system, than the citizens of the United States.
