The general population is ignorant as to names, faces, and places. Dragging this drama out is a way to constantly put all this in front of them to get them up to speed, or so we've been told. This would mean the media is complicit in this educational process, which implies they've been finger-printed, mug-shotted, charged, and plea bargained.
