yes, i'm doing it now, which is why i'm starving. it's called intermittent fasting. not only is it good for losing weight, but it's also very healthy for you because it allows you body (organs) to rest. as far as losing weight, it forces your body to use the fat in your body, instead of stored glucose to be used. it's great for older people like me who become glucose intolerant where you will diet and diet but won't lose weight. it sort of a reset. your body starts using the fat instead normally. for instance, my 22 yr old and i will eat the same food, the same amt, pretty much the same amt of activity, yet she stays thin and i gain weight. but watch a video or something because i don't think i'm explaining it well enough. i can attest to the fact that it really works though. you need to fast at least 14 hours but ideally can go longer. i usually stop eating after dinner and then don't eat again until lunch time, sometimes dinner. i cheat with tea and coffee but it still works. anyway, i've been thinking about what i want to eat all day

no because i need to chew texture, especially crunch, to get satiated. i wouldn't last a day on just liquid.

i finally broke my fast with two cheddar cheese and salami quesadillas using low carb tortillas and hot sauce. it was good.
