Fox News' cable TV "America's News Headquarters" @ 1630 EST just did a quick report on Chinese generic drugs (medications). Couple of takeaways:
-USA gets @90% of Generics from China
-China has no requirement to identify its source supplies/suppliers
-Active US Military and Vets receive said generics
Take a moment to digest that.
China, the same China that FB has been syphoning acct holders data and Medical info to, the same China that hacked the O.P.M stealing all Active and Former Military and DOD/Gov Contractor US Security Clearance packet applications (which includes education history i.e. elementary/high school info, every former residence address/phone number u lived in for 3+ months + 3 references and their respective info for each of Your addresses, every license/certification # /etc you hold/held/applied for, work history, fingerprints, COMPLETE detailed Credit history and current financial status/all bank accounts/cards/loans/stocks/etc)
I personally suspect our DNA profile would also be linked with it tho I have never been definitively told yes. Interesting that the OPM emailed us when the breach occurred and specifically stated that our digitized fingerprints were compromised in the hack but they "were not aware of any malicious use they could be used for".(paraphrased)
Oh, and they offered us a free 1 year subscription to Lifelock plus our dependents (something like till age 18 for kids and 4 yrs for spouse). What a joke.
Point being, China has our data and is manufacturing our meds. Couple that with things like 2 weeks ago the Chinese Professor (in Genetics) who was caught taking money from both China and NIH (essentially the Navy's med research dept- right across the street from Bethesda Navy Hosp; now "Walter Reed" due to BRAC merger w/ Army)
