I'd say the Diplomacy Center smells pretty bad. Started out as a foreign affairs museum entity, but now appears to be a lobbying organization, but one that is in direct partnership with State. I encourage others to look into this. Diplomacy is not too far removed from intelligence.

"The Building American Diplomacy Campaign, led by Ambassador Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, has generated $48 million toward our private sector goal. There are currently 23 donors at the $1 million and above level to the capital campaign."

"The Founding Ambassadors of the Diplomacy Center Foundation are members of the presidentially appointed U.S. diplomatic community who have joined together to provide a substantial financial contribution to build the United States Diplomacy Center. Ambassador Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, Ambassador Stuart A. Bernstein, (Ret.) spearhead the Founding Ambassadors program and serve on the Diplomacy Center Foundationโ€™s Board of Directors. This appeal to the generosity and patriotism of former diplomats and their families has, to date, generated $7.2 million from 62 participants to sponsor the Founding Ambassadors Concourse, located beneath Hall 1 in the new glass Pavilion."
