There has been talk here today on whether or not the video of "Hillary" on the stairs in India has a hidden message or meaning. I don't have the answers, but I do have some observations to contribute.
The first time I saw the video, I wondered how a woman her age, with a history of health issues and documented mobile instability, was able to react to those slips in such a relatively graceful manner? After the first slip, she also managed to stand without much help from her escort. In fact, when compared to the iron-clad grips of the escorts who tossed Herself into the beef wagon in NYC, neither of these escorts offered very much more than an arm for her to pull up and right herself on.
When she walks down the stairs, she starts by putting her toes down first, as do the others. Then, with her left leg, she puts her heel down first, right on a spot on the stair that looks as if it has been broken off. The first slide ensues. On the second slide, it looks as if she repeats her same "mistake:" left heel first, into a broken part of the stair.
As others have noted, there was very little concern exhibited either time by those in attendance. Could be because they've seen it all before. Or could it be that they expected it?
Lots of talk about "concrete" here today, too. I wonder if those stairs are made of stone or concrete blocks. Maybe the "concrete," whatever that is, isn't so stable any more.
