Theories on Mueller:

Mueller did not want to testify before Congress because he did not want to have to answer or try to avoid many questions from Republicans like the one in the meme.

We assume he knew the dossier was dirty early on, so why spend almost two years?

–looking for dirt on Trump associates to get them to "sing or compose"???

–looking or manufacturing dirt on Trump children to blackmail Trump into inaction???

So, we all know Mueller came out and basically turned his press conference into an invitation for the House to try to impeach Trump. What is not widely known (because the MSM is not reporting it well), the SC office and the DOJ put out a statement shortly after Mueller's ramblings walking back the big item in his speech. Mueller did say that they did not exonerate Trump, but what he omitted from the report, was that they did not find that Trump obstructed, either. They found nothing. They purposely avoided a conclusion. They implied a lot, and all the implications were not a ruling of law nor were they in line with standard behavior for prosecutors. Weissman left a lot of room for the House Democrats to scream about obstruction and impeachment.

Some pundits believe Mueller did not write the speech he gave last week (he fumbled through a lot of it), so they think the speech is a last ditch attempt from Weissman to try to get Trump.

When Mueller was done, Nader suddenly says he doesn't think he needs Mueller to come before his committee. I have not heard Nadler renew his call for the full Mueller report or the underlying documents.

The Democrats knew there was no smoking gun in the few things still redacted (GJ information) in the report. What they really wanted was the underlying documents from the SC team. They assumed there was juicy stuff in those docs they could use to get Trump.

Problem is, Mueller/'Weissman doesn't want those docs to see the light of day, because, hidden in there is likely tons of exculpatory information - the original testimony of subjects before Weissman turned the screws on them with perjury traps, and threats to go after spouses, children, and other family members. In those docs may be references to material the SC office conveniently deleted. In those docs may be proof of other wrong doing by the SC team. I theorize Mueller and Weissman made a deal with Nadler to give him a juicy sound bite in the "news conference" if Nadler would leave the SC report and underlying docs alone.

Don't know how we are going to sauce any of these theories other than wait for Durham, OIG, and Barr to look through all this stuff.

Some pundits now see the light and think the entire Mueller report needs to be taken apart piece by piece and fact checked. For one thing, they listed garbage from the MSM as fact in the report, and that should not be left to stand, if the House still has impeachment fever.

Theories. Take it for what it's worth.

If Nadler doesn't have Mueller come before his committee, I think Lindsey Graham needs to call him and Weissman in and grill them until they are well-done!
