The Gospel- What is it?
The gospel is an offer of forgiveness of sins, received through faith in Jesus Christ, accomplished by his life, death, and resurrection. Because our salvation is accomplished by him, the gospel is also said to be the declaration of the victory of God over sin, the world, the curse, and satan.
