3 years is nothing. These investigations take 3, 4, 5 years. Feds gather enough to make the case airtight and then offer plea bargains. Easiest way to check if this is legit is by checking PACER. I had an account but I decided I didn't want to pay for shit that should be public info and think it's closed. Don't even remember login/pass.

About 20 years ago, I knew some people who were raided by the FBI for computer crimes that they committed 3-5 years prior and FBI found hard drives. They kept everything. Arrogance.
Immunity agreements can be voided plus there's a loophole in federal immunity agreements. Easily voidable if the person immunized violates the terms. He had use immunity since the feds don't give transactional/blanket immunity.
Since Combetta got use immunity, derivative use immunity, they can still prosecute him if they get evidence of his criminal activity that is independent of his testimony. They just can't prosecute based on his own testimony.
Correct. If they find new evidence then he can be arrested and charged. Easily. Immunity agreement is worthless. So it's definitely possible that Combetta was arrested. Anyone with a PACER account? Indictment may still be sealed though.
