The notable about the situation in LA got my attention. Here is another story about that subject. I wonder if it is time for people in other states to help evacuate helpless Americans, particularly poor families to get out of LA and California in general. https://prepforthat.com/dr-drew-pinsky-say-bubonic-plague-likely-in-los-angeles/

I think it might be premature to raise fears of bubonic plague, though the article explains that the conditions for its spread are present.

The situation in San Francisco is also very bad.

I greatly appreciate Corey's Digs for good investigative journalism and an excellent web site. Seeing this post reminded me of her coverage of potential human trafficking and other nefarious escapades in the Caribbean. https://www.coreysdigs.com/page/2/

As a side note I used to follow Richard Branson founder of the Virgin Group, but started to get creeped out by the fact that he seemed to be such a playboy and very risqué.

The stories I find by sites such as the one I've provided a link to seem to confirm his connection to some very bad things.

The Caribbean is host to so many tourists and has such a beautiful environment that it would not surprise me if it has become a hub for things like human trafficking. If that "business" is ending perhaps companies providing cruises will see a lowering of expectations. I have no sauce as to whether or not cruise lines themselves contribute to human trafficking but that would seem like an obvious (and horrible) possibility.
