It looks to me like the EU is in the batter's box, though. Kansas threatening about Huawei contracts, POTUS telling the UK to ignore the $39 bill exit penalty, etc. This seems like a setup to get some EU asshats to sperg publicly so when the proof drops it highlights the dishonest ones even more. Those who scream the loudest, fresh in the public's memory.

I think there's German auto in MX, not sure of rest of EU. This will put some teeth in the threats to the EU. Car guys in Germany can't be too optimistic about the EU policy of waiting Trump out at this point. Something's going to blow. SPD head resigning today; was partners with Merkel to form a government. My guess is Merkel CDU would pull about 30% in new elections, so she'd have too scratch up 20% from somewhere. Germans going to the Green party as the alternative lately, so they'd have to be put in the gov with Merkel. Car guys no likee.
