Second the NOTABLE.
This has been my line of analysis since the spring of 2018. If one has studied mass psychology and read some handbooks on military psychological operations, the correspondences are too close for other interpretations to be viable.
The limitations with an operation that has been run for as long as this have to be losing audience engagement. Humans can be manipulated into holding on to certain expectations only for so long; promises made and not delivered upon are eventually going to be seen for what they were.
Clearly, many of us are at or beyond the limits of tolerance for a “containment” program. And the program operators now appear to recognize that there’s little new material to play with, which is why the latest drops have merely reference news sources or twats.
There’s a growing list of loose ends in the program: sequences started and abandoned; foreshadowed material that never came to pass; a clear shift from mil/intel oriented material to the overtly political. Unless the operators think we all have the memories of goldfish, it looks decidedly like an operation that has been passed around a few teams with a determination not to worry overmuch about continuity.
So the program has achieved a “quell the restive natives” success for a time; but what happens from this point, with the political landscape as broken and inhospitable as ever, is anyone’s guess.
