I'm not sure if you're aware of this tool, Save Page WE for Firefox will allow you to locally save any webpage including images and links intact.

This is very useful for archiving offline with the original html intact

They also have a Print Page WE to print a page to PDF, saving only the parts of the page you want. It's gay bc it doesn't save links in the PDF, but good as a backup.

If you use it be sure to adjust these Advanced options for best effect:

• increase "Maximum time for loading a resource" to ensure slow loading images and shit can be captured

• check "Allow passive mixed content" to ensure all images captured

• check "Lazy Loading" so the plugin will scroll through the page itself in order to save everything. Resources not scrolled to and loaded will not be saved, this option saves you the trouble.
