TORONTO — So much for Drake being the biggest star in the house for Sunday night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Barack Obama will be in attendance, although it is not anticipated he will participate in Drake-like sideline antics.
Obama might be the Warriors’ favorite politician. They visited him at the White House in 2015 after their first NBA championship, then pointedly stopped making celebratory White House visits after their most recent two titles, with President Trump in office. The Warriors visited Obama in Washington this season, eschewing a White House visit (no invitation was extended).
Head coach Steve Kerr, asked at his pregame news conference what memories he has of interactions between the Warriors and Obama, said, “Well, the White House visit, for sure, after the 2015 championship. So that was quite a thrill to visit there and have the whole team there, and it’s a treat to experience that.”

My BrotherÕs Keeper (MBK) Rising! is a national gathering of the MBK Alliance, now an initiative of the Obama Foundation.

Obama and Stephen Curry have golfed together on more than one occasion, usually in a foursome with Dell Curry and Ray Allen.
Obama and Curry work together on the Nothing But Nets project to fight malaria in Africa, and they appeared together earlier this year at a speaking event in Oakland.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau grabbed a pint with Obama at an Ottawa brewery Saturday night. Trudeau had also planned to attend Game 2, but was a late scratch.
