>>6658332 Hussein tells crowd 'deepfake' videos have him worried

this deepfake hysteria maskerading as something new is ludicrous.

people laugh when told the great Arthur Conan Doyle felt for the DeepFake Fairies back then… we can see the faking tech for what it is.

same old, same old

no.

not at all.

just that screaming at the dangers of being fooled by new tech (in this case photomontage) is old as fuck.

and that it was quite possible to see it even back then, but being new, i guess there was more room for doubt.

but with some habit/training, time having passed, the fairies are funny to us now.

just like the cheap obama deepfakes will be - and should already be.

Massively popular, but then overtook by corporations are riddled with chemicals.

Become the modern evil of evils, gets banned more & more…

Don't know much about the "magic/sacred" part of it, but am impressed how forgotten that part is.

We think of it as being evil & profane so much, we have the reflex to smile/laugh when we see a Native ceremony where Tobacco is used as an opening cleansing, a vital part of it, but… they were the ones who introduced Europeans to Tobacco.

and dayum, didn't see those digits coming
