Kosher is done the way it’s done to adhere to the old testament principles of not consuming blood.
Many of God’s old testament “laws” were merely designed to limit the spread of diseases, illnesses, parasites, etc in an age without the technology we have now.
God’s Laws are WISDOM, all borne out by modern science as good advice… ESPECIALLY before modern technology

ludicrous. We are talking about simple Bible principles. Anything that some people may do extra-biblically is beside the point.
I’m a Christian so I could care less about Kosher, but the simple fact is that all of God’s laws in the bible were prescribed out of His Love and protection.
