The best you can do requires raw data precompression, preferably highest res possible. Next do your work, all parts have to be as above. Then run compression on file, down size some and repeat a few times until to target res. The best way for detecting fakes is via compression artifacts so… just have to make sure they match. This also means the rest the work would have to past the eye test also.
