Will we find out that these companies are actually selling all their customer data, and claiming they were hacked in order to protect themselves legally in case that data is accidentally discovered somewhere outside their systems?
Think about what a criminal network, or a foreign government, or a deep state agency, could do with the financial and medical records of 12 million Americans, and how much they would be willing to pay for it.
