Nothing unusual in volume leading up to the crash, anon, although that 10% tank leading into the crash is somewhat suspicious. The 'take' would not have been more than a few hundred million so pretty much penny ante for the big guns if known.
Could not get this to pop up with 'protection.' You might be able to. Look for the short interest and any increases through 3/1. Would not be able to tell much on 3/15 as stock was trading that whole week after the crash.
