Because I would rather anons in this region do their homework and get some before the big players come in and buy up all the cheap land which they have already very quietly been doing in the red saprolite areas.
Yes, it’s true many go into state parks to pan and/or use hand dredges, but if you live in this region and have land with this red clay like soil, it may contain very fine gold, particularly if granite is nearby. It concentrates into nuggets at the roots of trees and grass within the first 3 feet especially in “hollows” where there is seasonal “ponding” and then drying.
