In case you're sincerely naïve, consider this: cheetahs are cool. Lions are cool. They don't seek each other out to pick fights over mane supremacy or spotted-jihad. But take a pack of cheetahs and force them into the same habitat lions live in, competing for the same food and space, unable to express their true natures, and suddenly neither will be cool.
