Seems to me what would be important would be enforcing anti-trust laws.
I would prefer to expose the corruption and/or allow the time for anti-trust rather than allow more of what amounts to government approval and censorship of a private business' communications.
Don't let freedom slip away because of anger or impatience. Play the long game for the big prize at the end.
