I saw the posts about the Google outages on June 2, 2019. My daughter teaches English for a HUGE company online to Chinese students in Beijing. On June 2 their entire platform went down. They said it was Amazon Cloud (AWS). They sent a note out to their teachers telling them that a fiber optic cable managed by AWS was damaged affecting all AWS users in Beijing. I thought it was a big coincidence. I thought Anons might want to know.
