Is anyone else disappointed by David Platt's "apology" after praying for Trump in his church? To me, his statement is cowardly and his attitude arrogant. I love our POTUS. Platt's words treated him as an object, not as a person humbly coming to ask for prayer. It was a sad day to see Christ's church, and Platt is considered one of the most sincere, fall into "seeking unity" above all else. Unity with wolves was never Christ's goal. https://www.mcleanbible.org/prayer-president

I agree. Platt in the end succumbed to fear of man rather than fear of the Lord and walking with Him. Christ never once flinched or spoke only what is pleasing to the masses.
