US President Donald Trump arrived in the United Kingdom on Monday, where he is expected to meet with outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May and a number of local business leaders.

 

Larry the cat, Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office, has found itself in the centre of a political incident after it was detected trying to make its way into Donald Trump's limo, the "Beast".

 

The incident occurred when the US president was inside Number 10 with outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May, however, it's believed that the cat didn't manage to get into the car.

Washington (CNN)A Navy judge has removed the lead prosecutor in the case against a Navy SEAL charged with murdering a wounded person and shooting at noncombatants in Iraq, citing potential conflicts of interest over the prosecutor's decision to use an email tracker in corresponding with the defense team.

Edward "Eddie" Gallagher, a Navy SEAL charged with murdering a wounded person and shooting at noncombatants in Iraq, faces a slew of accusations connected to violations of military law while he was deployed to the Iraqi city of Mosul in 2017, including premeditated murder in the stabbing death of an injured person in Iraq. Gallagher has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to go on trial June 10.

George Nader, a well-connected Middle East fixer for Donald Trump's presidential campaign and a witness in the Russia meddling probe, was arrested for possessing child pornography, the US Justice Department said.

 

A Lebanese-American businessman, Nader was arrested at John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City on Monday on charges of "transporting visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct," the department said.

 

The arrest was based on a 13-month-old sealed indictment that said Nader had sexually explicit pictures of children on his mobile phone when he entered the United States on a previous trip on January 17, 2018.

 

Nader, who has a history of child pornography cases stretching back to the 1980s, faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 40 years.
