To the anon that puts together the “Sealed indictments” graphics
Please remove the word indictments from every graphic. These are sealed proceedings. An indictment is returned when a grand jury votes to accuse someone of a crime. This does not happen in every sealed proceeding. Moreover, one sealed proceeding could be an indictment of ten people, or just a pen register for a phone wiretap based on an affidavit from a DEA agent.
The word indictment should not be used AT ALL on these graphics. It makes anons look stupid.
Please do not mistake my comment for being harsh. I know how much work goes into this. The anons who do this work are heroes. I just want the chart to be accurate.
Call it “SEALED PROCEEDINGS”
