Intriguing thoughts anon. This is a little tangent, but it is something that has helped me view similar topics from a different perspective. Consider that this realm is simply a shadow, or projection of our conscious and subconscious mind. Of course this is merely an analogy, I do not mean to say that this world is any less real or important, rather that there is another realm which is even more real and important. In the same way that a comic strip has a life of it's own, yet the real and genuine source of all it's creativity comes from the artist himself. The artist IS the comic, but the comic is what we actually know. Spirituality is our reality, but reality is what we actually know. Most people don't consider the artist very much and just view the comic as an independent realm. The comic is a projection of the artist's ideas. We might see that, for instance, a car in the comic is blue. We can try to take clues from the other panels of the comic to try to understand why the car was colored blue, but we can never truly know, since the comic isn't what's real, it's merely what we see.

Unfortunately we can not climb into the artist's mind to see why he made the car blue. In our reality we are all the artists. We create what we want and can project our ideas out into the real world. Many of us become wound up in being a part of our creations, sinking our selves into the material world. We then try to look for answers to our questions in the comic we've created, overlooking the fact that the true answers are already in our mind. They're already accessible but we are too busy staring at the blue car in our driveway hoping that it'll scream out an answer to us.

My point is that things like DMT aren't the reason that things work, they're simply the mechanical shadows that allow our thoughts to manifest. We don't have spirituality because we have DMT, we have DMT because we have spirituality. I can't tell you exactly how to apply this concept to your thoughts, but if you can see the abstract in what I'm saying it may help you consider things from a different angle. Think mirror.

Bad actors sink themselves in the material world and corrupt themselves chasing after things like adrenochrome. They try to enslave us, but can only do so through material means. God creates, the devil can only manipulate. Of course you can and should try to improve your health, meditate, ect, but don't be discouraged by the idea that you can not achieve spirituality because you've been physically broken or tampered with. That's just a shadow. Find spirituality where it exists and your shadow will change.

Again this is just one analogous way to try to interpret these kinds of mental concepts. It sometimes reveals what you seek, and it sometimes leads to nothing.

Is it necessary to leave the game though? Perhaps the game is the entire point and we only need to learn how to play. What does a creator do if he has nothing to create? If we exist in two places at once, is one more precious than the other? When more people join a server does the game become more hectic? Why is our timeline becoming so batshit?

There might be portals hidden around the world, I thoroughly enjoy learning and entertaining those ideas. Is a physical portal necessary to leave this world though? Religion, philosophy, art, drugs, music, stories passed down through the ages, myths, the occult. Are they not hinting at the very same things? They are all products of our minds. They must necessarily be a reflection of that which we all share.

Weed is a tremendous tool, but you can not build a house with only a hammer. Experience your thoughts through the lens of weed, but don't allow the lens of weed to become your thoughts.
