Agreed..Larger problem I believe is this. They get complete tax exemption, it always seems to come down to the free money, I truly believe if the exemption were removed there would be far fewer willing to have churches .

Simplest of terms on 501(c)(3), with this they can donate to other 501(c)(3)'s donate small amounts to legitimate ones, just so everything looks like they are doing what they said they would. With the rest they claim expenses, staff, education, operations, in addition to salaries. All free.
