Churches are political just like countries.
Some have corrupt leaders, and those with the most money control the place.

For a POTUS to drop in on a church, nearly unannounced, is quite extraordinary.
The Devil is tricky.
Of course he has infiltrated and corrupted churches in any way possible.
That's why we need the full armor of God.
If it weren't for the devil, we would be surrounded only in God's glory and that is the definition of heaven.
Revelation 21:3-4
