>Simplest of terms on 501(c)(3), with this they can donate to other 501(c)(3)'s donate small amounts to legitimate ones, just so everything looks like they are doing what they said they would. With the rest they claim expenses, staff, education, operations, in addition to salaries. All free.
Wait, ahaha. So the following is true?
A == A legit church, registered as 501(c)(3)
B,C,E,Fโฆmore churches like A.
FO == A "church", registered as 501(c)(3) and receiving $$$ from "sources".
According to you, FO can basically funnel $, $, $, piece by piece to A, B, C, E and claim it's for legitimate reasons. In return FO politely asks that Pastors do regular trips to 3rd world countries around the world in order to "spread Jesus".
Is this how it works? Cause honestly this triggered me several times over because I wondered how the frak and why the fuck does my Pastor travel to Peru, Colombia and some other dumps when there is veterans freezing outside during the winter storms and we get politely reminded of that when the church would ask for volunteer help.
Hey assholes, I traveled a bit too, those plane tickes aren't free and if you are flying around with your staff of half dozen people, that $$$ will keep a lot of people warm during the winter.
