There are articles out there describing the Wahhabi sect of the Muslim religion, how it was promoted by Britain back in the day, how it's funded by Saudi Arabia to spread it around the world. It's described as brainwashing its adherents, turning out those stereotypical fundamental radicals.

There's another religion that does the same thing to its adherents. Who their enemy is and their history of victimization is pounded into their heads from birth. This is Judaism. Whether or not some become rabid as a result is not as significant as the fact that almost all of them believe this ersatz history. This can justify rationalizing taking advantage of other groups of people. This can instill paranoia. This potential primes the whole group to operate in secret to promote their own. This doesn't even touch on other beliefs within the group that reinforce their behaving as outsiders while they live within other population groups. This creates a cohesion in the group while other communities are in the midst of being splintered and destroyed.

There are historical examples of Jews pretending to be Christians or Muslims. A modern day version of that is the Saudi family pretending they are Muslims, they are not, they are Jews. Jews promoting Wahhabism. There are groups embracing fake beliefs like this scattered all over.
