I would go further than that, and reverse the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, require everyone who got amnesty through this, Reagan's biggest fuck-up, to go through an expedited citizenship application process to remain here. Those who skip it or fail it get deported along with 100.000000% of all people who have entered the country illegally before then or since then. I would also retroactively end birthright citizenship for the children of non-citizens, requiring those also to go through an (expedited) citizenship application process to ensure they are above the board with the law. I would further disqualify all people deported for border jumping or for over-staying a visa from applying for legal citizenship ever again. I'm tired of these abuses and I want them reversed with all possible fury and fervor.
If this would split up families, their family members are welcome to go with them and we can help them yard sale their shit before they get on the bus to Chetumal or wherever the fuck.
