I note that this effort is merely for show. Anything they can roll out this quickly and effortlessly, they can roll back in. Impose the tariffs. If they stop the traffic for 12 months, roll them back by 5%. If they extend it another 12 months, roll them back by a further 5% … and so on. But the goal is under 100 per month – ALL as either individuals or small family groups.

My wife and I lost a dear friend in the November 12, 2001 crash of AA Flight 587 crash in NYC. Jackie was a beautiful, crazy, outgoing and loving young woman working in management for UPS. Not flighty … just fun and very religious, very family oriented.

Do NOT overlook the certainty that the plane was seriously heavy … the Dominicans and Haitians use their vacations to the island as a means of evading paying customs fees. They'll take a fking refrigerator and, with a straight face, tell you it's for personal use.
