I knew a guy who had studied architecture with the founder of Arcosanti, so I looked into it a little bit once. This guy seemed like a normal enough hippie-type architect guy. They were really big into spaces with rounded shapes like domes and curved walls and beehive ovens outside the home and things you can make in organic shapes using concrete formed by hand.
