Wonder if he went to interview anyone who is a potential witness up there.
Why did he go to Alaska? Just a vacation?
Reminded me of those statistics they published at the very end of the movie, Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind where in print they mention that it is the most-visited state by the FBI. Sure, in the context of the movie, they meant to imply that it was because of UFOs, but when you really think about it, it has been a good place for fugitives from justice to take on a new identity. And maybe for fugitives from their own dark pasts and dangerous people they knew.
Hence, the unusually high number of visits by the FBI?
If Barr did speak to someone, they probably have taken appropriate precautions for their safety.
Then again, maybe it’s just a good remote place to meet someone who doesn”t live in Alaska at all. Maybe they live a hop, skip and a jump away.
