You know I was thinking today about an anon who was looking into something underwater at Alamitos Bay involving what he described as a rail line and with human trafficking involved. Now I never paid him much mind because it is too farfetched for me to consider.

But does everyoe remenber in their history class about the efforts to help runaway slaves prior to (and during?) the Civil War? Did they call that “ratline” operation the “Underground Railroad”? Did it actually run underground? No!

And if we had a “ratline” operation running refugees or worse by water routes, might someone trying to decode (((their))) comms have gotten the idea that there was an “underwater railroad” in operation? Again, it’s ludicrous to think of a real “underwater railroad”, but not taken in context of a water-route “ratline.

What makes the idea ever so perverse is that the former was used to free slaves, the latter, if true, to enslave.

Just some thoughts.
