"Wildfire season has barely started, and PG&E Corp. is already warning it could cut service in Napa County and elsewhere in Northern California to prevent power lines from sparking a blaze.

PG&E may proactively shut off electricity in several counties this weekend after the National Weather Service said fire risk was high, the San Francisco-based utility said Friday. About 1,600 customers in Napa, Solano and Yolo counties will have power shut off early Saturday morning through at least Saturday afternoon, PG&E said in a separate statement. ASHBURN, Va. - "A 14-year-old is alleging a faculty member at Trailside Middle School in Ashburn raped her in the spring of 2018. Now, her family is suing after they say the school system mishandled her case.

In a statement released to Loudoun County families over the weekend, the school system says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, the Loudoun County Family Services Department, and Loudoun County Public Schools investigated her allegations, and the Loudoun Commonweath Attorney's Office ultimately declined charges in the case.

The family's attorney, Fenlene Edrington, says the school system will not provide her with copies of the investigation's findings.

Edrington says the school system suspended the student after she, "continued to talk to her teachers about the rape."

"In short, LCPS informed this family, your straight-A student who has never had behavioral problems at school has accused her teacher of raping her," said Edrington in a statement to WDVM. "We investigated this matter and concluded your child is lying. We will NOT provide you a copy of the investigation. When the child continued to talk to her teachers about the rape, LCPS suspended her."

This is great, but it's also an outrage that the flag can be flown in an embassy at all:

WASHINGTON — "The Trump administration is rejecting requests from U.S. embassies to fly the rainbow pride flag on embassy flagpoles during June, LGBTQ Pride Month, three American diplomats told NBC News.

The U.S. embassies in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia are among those that have requested permission from Trump's State Department to fly the pride flag on their flagpoles and have been denied, diplomats said.

Although the pride flag can and is being flown elsewhere on embassy grounds, including inside embassies and on exterior walls, the decision not to allow it on the official flagpole stands in contrast to President Donald Trump's claim to be a leader in supporting LGBTQ rights overseas. Trump's administration has announced a campaign to decriminalize homosexuality overseas and this month issued a tweet and formal statement to "celebrate LGBT Pride Month and recognize the outstanding contributions LGBT people have made."
