FWIW moon rocks recovered from the moon landings are billions of years older than the earth is thought to be.
I personally think that Jupiter went walkabout (as it is rumored to do every few thousand years or so), turned a planet into then asteroid belt, then went on to mars by disprupting its rotation (and thus stopping it's dynamo effect)…
…And gave the earth a moon after reorganizing what used to reside in earths orbit.
…And then…. the people on Mars had enough time to figure out how to travel to earth as Mars died.
