Years ago, maybe ten, before I knew about child trafficking, my bf and I were eating in a restaurant , think it was Friendly’s in NJ. Anyway, older dude in his 60s looked like a truck driver, with very young kid sits in booth next to us. Kid looked absolutely terrified, all slouched over trying to look small, never said a word, man never spoke..we knew something was wrong but couldn’t put our finger on it. Haunts me today, I know that kid was being trafficked.
