So I’ve often held that TV Stations / Weather Folk like to hyper-inflate the weather for ratings. Ratings = $$$. Ok… but then there’s the whole ‘crying wolf’ thing that, in the end, endangers people’s lives due to misinformation. So… along comes a news story http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2019/jun/07/a-tv-meteorologist-who-objected-on-air-to-manageme/ that supports this theory. Sure enough… Mr Crain’s bio is no longer on the website https://newschannel20.com/station/people.

So to recap >> Sinclair Broadcast Co is FORCING weather meteorologists to FALSELY state the weather to INCREASE ratings. Think about that. I guess we all better become our own weather source and read the data for ourselves and know what it means. Dear God.. WHAT a MESS !!!!

Yes but requiring "CODE RED" days when there is NO threat is a whole new level of really really bad. People should be made aware. Also… not ALL local weather is treated this way. Would be good for people to know which ones are being stupid and which are not. Don't you think?
